Safe space & shelter

Secure fencing, adequate paddock space and shelter from the elements are essential for any horse's wellbeing.

Ongoing care

You'll need to provide quality feed, fresh water, and routine veterinary and farrier care throughout the horse's life.

Some horses suit experienced handlers, while calmer horses can suit newer owners with the right support. We'll be honest about what each horse needs and help match you accordingly.

A modest adoption contribution helps recover some of the feed, vet and transport costs already invested in each horse. Contact us to discuss the details for the horse you're interested in.

The welfare of the horse always comes first. If circumstances change, please talk to us — we would always rather help than see a horse end up back in an unsafe situation.

Our horses are cared for at our rehabilitation facility in the Bluewater region north of Townsville. Adoptions are arranged directly with our volunteers.
